New psECR is released

Versions 1.8.6 (C/C++/C#) and 1.8.4 (Java)

Stable version of psECR solution components is ready to use.

What’s new?

Java:

  1. Demo application now shows response tags received in human-readable view
  2. Demo application uses now Auto-Connection mode
  3. Added permission request for App2App mode
  4. Implemented POS application auto search flow to simplify initial configuration of terminals
  5. Extended set of communication errors and introduced new API to retrieve exact code
  6. Improvements to increase solution stability

C/C++/C#:

  1. Extended set of communication errors and introduced new API to retrieve exact code
  2. Now ECR side could query current status of transaction execution, and POS is able to inform ECR side about transaction progress. Introduced States are:
    1. POS_STATE_IDLE – POS is ready to accept transactions
    2. POS_STATE_CARD_WAITING – POS application is waiting for card
    3. POS_STATE_PIN_ENTERING – POS application prompts to PIN entry
    4. POS_STATE_HOST_PROCESSING – POS application is communicating with authorization host
    5. POS_STATE_RECEIPT_PREPARING – POS application started receipt preparing for transaction
    6. POS_STATE_DATA_ENTERING – POS application prompts to enter data to finalize transaction flow
    7. POS_STATE_OPERATION_IN_PROGRESS – Common state to indicate that POS is busy with current transaction execution
  3. C# Demo application now allows to introduce custom data for ECR requests. Allows to use the same demo with different projects and specifics.
